With over nine recreational activities located right in the park to enjoy, you will find lots of ways to fill your time. Tall Timber hosts seasonal events to bring together our community and visitors for fun and connection.
Tall Timber Leisure Park proudly recognizes the Tall Timber Community and Recreation Society for its many years of dedication and significant contributions to our community. Incorporated in 2008, the Society worked alongside residents, volunteers and the Tall Timber Board to raise funds and secure grants that helped create and improve many of the recreational amenities we continue to enjoy today, including our playgrounds, basketball and pickleball courts, pool upgrades, horseshoe pits, bocce courts, disc golf, ball diamond improvements, Gaga Ball Pit and Community Centre upgrades. Although the Society officially wound down in 2022, its legacy remains throughout Tall Timber. We extend our sincere appreciation to all past Society members, volunteers, residents and supporters whose hard work, fundraising and commitment helped make these accomplishments possible.

Recreation and Relaxation for Every Age
Nestled in Southern Alberta’s foothills, Tall Timber Leisure RV Park is a true escape into nature with modern conveniences. From May through September, our heated indoor pool and hot tub are open for you to enjoy (fees apply). Our snack bar, conveniently located near the pool, offers a variety of snacks and gifts before you head out for the day.
Please note: children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area, and swim attire is required.
Community Spaces and Family Amenities
Our park is built for families and friends to gather and make memories. Owners have the opportunity to host events in the large community centre and participate in many special events through the summer. Swim with your family and friends or enjoy two large playgrounds perfect for kids. For those seeking fun activities, try out our bocce court, horseshoe pits, baseball diamond, nine-hole disc golf, pickleball, and GaGa ball pit.
Proximity to Nature and Nearby Attractions
Enjoy the beautiful Red Deer River just steps away from the park for fishing, kayaking, or rafting. For golf enthusiasts, three scenic courses - Sundre Golf Course, Coyote Creek, and Forest Heights - are a short drive from the park. The mountains are only minutes away where you can enjoy white water rafting, horseback riding, hiking and so much more. Tall Timber is also close to essential amenities: shopping is within 1 km, and there’s a hospital just 3.5 km away. Plus, we’re just a one-hour drive from Calgary or Red Deer, making us a convenient getaway.
